Place is really charming with a huge backyard. Neighbors on both sides and behind but with so much space it never felt the least bit intrusive. Hot tub is fantastic, the layout of the house is as described with a big game room in the garage. We didn’t cook much but found everything in the kitchen that we needed It snowed on the last day we were there and that was pretty magical l, with our dogs delighted with the fresh powder and the whole place feeling ethereal. Also a contrast from the day we arrived when it was 70 and there wasn’t a trace of snow until we got further up towards Bear Valley and the sno parks Highly recommend the house, and Arnold itself which was friendly and gives off the feel of a real mountain town that functions on its own, but appreciates the tourists who want to share in a slice of the sierras Very much recommend Big Trees state park, which is probably amazing on any day, but with fresh snow covering the trails, pine trees and sequoias was otherworldly!
