Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Sierra at Mountain Timbers! This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin is perfect for 6-8 of your family and friends. Enter into the well-appointed cabin with vaulted ceilings and a lovely mountain feel + open floor plan. The kitchen is fully equipped for whipping up meals together. Relax and rejuvenate on the spacious deck where you can watch for shooting stars in the mountain sky. This cabin offers 4 small kayaks for your little ones to take to Pinebrook Lake (free access). You will also find a seasonal fire pit right there in your backyard (winter only).

Mountain Timbers is a single level cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 (master) has a Queen bed and attached bathroom, Bedroom 2 has a Full Bed, and Bedroom 3 has 2 Twin Bunk Beds (4 Twins total). There is also a Queen Sleeper sofa in the living room. This home has 2 full bathrooms (master bathroom plus additional full bath). Private hot tub included.

"Beat the heat at Mountain Timbers! Even during the heat of summer, we stayed comfortable by swimming in the lake during the day, dining out for dinner (or prepping it in advance), and taking a dip in the huge hot tub after dark. It was incredible viewing the night sky while letting the jets wash over us at the end of a long day! The cabin also had several fans including a portable Dyson air cooler/purifier, and the crisp, cool mountain air in the morning was so refreshing. Staying at Mountain Timbers was a great way to beat the Bay Area heat. Cannot recommend highly enough!

"We stayed at Mountain Timbers with our kids, ages 7 and 9, with another family, and highly recommend it. There is tasteful mountain-themed décor throughout, with attention to detail, including furniture made of hand-hewn logs and prints of local scenes by a local artist. We loved sipping our coffee on the deck, surrounded by the tall pines and crisp mountain air. There were so many fun things for the kids (and adults) to do for entertainment, like hiking the Arnold Rim trail, shopping, dining, swimming in summer, playing in the snow in winter, exploring Big Trees State Park, and even touring local caves. After dark, we saw hundreds of stars in the night sky while relaxing in the hot tub. Mountain Timbers is an amazing value, and we will definitely be staying there again in the future!

Magical winter getaway!

"We stayed at Mountain Timbers in December and it was wonderful, being all tucked in with the beautifully decorated tree and the snow falling outside. We drove up to Bear Valley for a “ski day” and had epic fun on the slopes. So awesome! We also took advantage of the nice sledding hill right behind the cabin, so we didn’t have to get in the car to go sledding. We took turns sledding with the kids and drinking hot cocoa around the campfire ring. Hitting the hot tub after all that was heavenly! Inside, the central heat and gas woodstove (no mess) kept us warm and snug. It was a magical winter getaway that we’ll remember for a long time!

"We spent a week at Mountain Timbers and spent a lot of time at Pinebrook Lake, which is so awesome. The lake, which is only a half mile walk or drive from the cabin, is big enough to feel like a small mountain lake, yet small enough to let you keep an eye on the kids. There’s also plenty of parking. Our kids were literally entertained for hours, and even made new “lake friends”. The beach was clean and well-maintained, with a nice bathroom on site. It also had a swing set and several barbecues, and a beautiful play structure across the street. There was also a baseball field, volleyball, basketball court, and frisbee golf across from the lake (bring your own bats/balls etc.!) The owners of Mountain Timbers stocked the cabin with everything we needed to enjoy the lake: four kids’ kayaks and life preservers, beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, and even a cooler. We barbecued and ate dinner out on the deck and wrapped up the evening in the hot tub. Perfect!! We’ll definitely be returning to Mountain Timbers!

"I will definitely be booking this place again. Amazing place to vacation with family or friends. The short walk/drive to Pinebrook lake and other lakes, the hot tub, and the cabin itself made the perfect weekend getaway experience. With only a 30-45 minute drive to Bear Valley and to Big Trees State Park, it is also the perfect place for ski adventures and hiking day-trips!
