Updated and peaceful retreat in Big Trees Village with free access to the Big Trees Village HOA recreation center (with 2 pools, games, snack bar, sand volleyball, horseshoes, playground and more)! This beautiful, updated cabin has all the amenities to enjoy a special Sierra getaway, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and plenty of space for families (and Fido too)! Gather in the large open great room while enjoying a hot meal cooked on the smoker or propane BBQ. You have a full sized billiards table and ping pong to keep everyone entertained for hours! Peaceful Pinecone is only a quick drive to all the local attractions such as Big Trees State Park, Bear Valley Ski Resort, Lake Alpine, and more. The spacious new deck with hot tub provide a perfect place to enjoy the fresh mountain air all year long!

Peaceful Pinecone sleeps 10 people in 4 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 offers a Queen bed, Bedroom 2 offers a Double bed along with a bunk bed (2 Twins), and Bedroom 3 offers a Queen bed. The first 3 bedrooms are located on the main floor. Bedroom 4 is the primary ensuite upstairs and boasts a King bed and private bathroom. There is another full bathroom with laundry on the main floor.

Amenities: Access to BTV Rec Center, WiFi, TV, Billiards, Ping Pong, Hot Tub, Wood Stove, Fully-Equipped Kitchen, Gas BBQ (propane provided), Smoker (BBQ), Washer and Dryer, AC in master bedroom.

Linens and towels provided. Maximum 10 guests. Dogs Welcome (2 max), no smoking, no check-ins on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or Easter Sunday. Patio furniture is seasonal.

"We had 4 couples and the cabin worked great. Plenty of parking. The pool table in the garage was a big selling point for us. The Rec Center was fun and the pool was clean. Would definitely go back

"Wife and I checked in at 4 as directed and found the place clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Kindling and wood was pre-prepped making it easy to start a fire in the wood stove to get the place warmed up. Didn’t take long. The hot tub was super clean and looked brand new. Very conveniently located on the deck and easy to get in and out. Very much appreciated. We stayed for 4 nights and made several trips up to the ski area, about a 20 minute drive. Neighborhood was very quiet. Will use this place again.

"Wonderful place in a great location! Quiet and relaxing neighborhood. We had amazing responsiveness from the rental team during our stay as we had a strange aberration with the garage door function, and they quickly had a person out to inspect and resolve in 10-15 mins. Fortunately all was working perfectly when help arrived. Dang Murphy’s Law! But we were well accommodated regardless. Thank you realty team for your speedy help!

Restful retreat

"This house offered just the retreat that we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed plus more. This house offered ample space for 4 kids and 2 adults. There was plenty of room for relaxation and play in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend this house!

"Such a lovely, cozy house. Great spaces for gathering together both inside and outside, and also plenty of space to have some peace and quiet. Nice kitchen for cooking. Plenty of beautiful spots nearby for enjoying nature (loved big trees!) and also listening to music or drinking local wine. I hope to come back one day to enjoy this great house in winter!

Family adventure and relaxation

"We spent a fun, active summer week here with family and friends. (4 adults, 2 kids and 2 pups with room to spare.) Our outdoor adventures included exploring the beauty of the Sierras - swimming and paddling at Lake Alpine, visiting Big Trees park and Sourgrass Day Use area on the Stanislaus River, and a hike on the Arnold Rim Trail. Shout outs go to the gold rush town of Columbia and buzzy main street of Murphys (yummy ice cream at Joma’s and many winetasting options.) The Rec Center was great for more swimming, water polo, and pickleball clinic/play! (There is also a fun disc golf course we didn’t have time to try this time.) Back at the Peaceful Pinecone, the home is just what we like on vacation: it has everything you need in the kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and common areas with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax. The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet. We started and ended our days on the deck with coffee/wine looking up at the trees. Favorite surprises include: stargazing in the hammock (sigh!) sampling the collection of board games, basketball hoop, pool table, and the swurfer swing (good practice for SUP). We grilled and tried the smoker, both of which were easy to use. Hope to come back again for more adventures in the snow!

Comfortable family basecamp

"This was a wonderful spot for a snow adventure basecamp. Plenty of space for two families to relax after winter adventures, both downhill skiing and snowshoeing. Comfortable beds and couches, and well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals together. We have visited this area for years and this is our favorite spot to stay so far! We will definitely be back for summer adventures as well.

Spacious yet cozy!

"The kids can sled right from the house here, there is excellent snowshoeing on flat or challenging trails in snow parks or at Bear Valley, and of course downhill skiing at Bear Valley too. The house is spacious yet cozy and inviting with a huge primary bedroom upstairs and 3 good sized bedrooms on the main level, as well as a large bathroom and living area that can comfortably accommodate a crowd. It's easy to access on plowed streets and we found even just sledding and exploring in the blocks around the cabin was a lot of fun. We can't wait to come back next winter!

"Perfect home base for a mountain getaway. We spent lazy days at Alpine Lake splashing and swimming, fished along the river and sunned ourselves on the rocks, and hiked among giant sequoias in Big Trees! Everything you need is there, including laundry, a well-stocked kitchen and good wifi. There are restaurants nearby and a good grocery store too. The cabin has lots of space and a large living room/dining room/open kitchen perfect for gathering after a day of fun. Home away from home! Skiing, Snowshoeing & Sledding!

"What a special place! Clean, cozy, recently updated, and plenty of space for our two families (4 adults + 6 kids). We enjoyed being together around the table and in the great room, and appreciated that we could also spread out in the 4 bedrooms on 2 separate floors. Loved skiing in nearby Bear Valley, and exploring the charming and historic town of Columbia (also a short drive away). Grab it while you can -- you won't regret it!!
