Mountain luxury awaits! Vacation in style in this generously sized cabin just steps away from the Blue Lake Springs recreation center and Snowflake Lodge Lake (guest fees apply). With over 3000 square feet, 4 bedrooms (2 primary), 3 full and 2 half baths, loft, large rec room and spacious deck there’s more than enough room for friends and family to spread out and soak in the Sierra. The great room with cathedral vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows allows the Sierra sun to shine through. The fully-stocked kitchen (with 2 ovens) and dining area are adjacent to the great room; dine at the big dinner table, breakfast bar. Enjoy the large deck complete with patio furniture and gas BBQ. Stay comfortable year-round with a fireplace, forced air gas heat, and air-conditioning (a rare commodity here in the mountains). Come and relax in the serenity of the mountains in the cabin of all cabins.

Blue Lake Bliss sleeps 11 guests in 4 bedrooms. The first bedroom is a primary en-suite on the main floor with a King bed. The remaining 3 bedrooms are all upstairs off of the loft. Bedroom 2 is an en-suite with a King bed. Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed, and the extra large Bedroom 4 features a Twin bed plus 2 Trundle beds, for a total of 5 Twins. In addition to the 2 en-suite full bathrooms in Bedrooms 1 and 2, there is an additional full bathroom upstairs and a half bathroom on both the main floor and downstairs off of the rec room (total of 3 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms). The laundry is on the main floor.

Amenities: Blue Lake Springs Rec Center (fees apply), Wifi, 3 TVs, cable, DVD player, bumper pool, ping pong (in garage), foosball, forced air heat, AC, gas BBQ, Linens and towels.

No smoking, no pets, no check-ins on Christmas Day or Easter Sunday.

"The Varela House is in a great location. Easy access from Hwy 4, plenty of parking. We’ve rented numerous houses in the Arnold area over the past 10 years and this location was a top 5 location. I only gave it a 4 out of 5 because the house needs a few minor touches. Some of the fixtures were loose and the hot tub was not working. Cedar Creek Realty’s staff was amazing. They communicated with us the entire time and tried to accommodate when they found out the hot tub wasn’t. working. We decided to stay with the Varela House and CCR gave us a reasonable credit. We had to reach out to CCR for a few minor things and they were acknowledged and addressed within minutes. I would rent the Varela House again and I would 100% rent again from CCR.

"We had a wonderful Christmas celebration at the Varela house. The rooms are larger than they look in pictures, the kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils, the games were fun, couches were comfy, there were even a few luxurious features like a heated bathroom floor.

"Game room was a win for the kids and kids at heart! Lots of time playing together as a family. Listened to some great local music, enjoyed hikes and lots of water (river, lakes, etc.). Cabin was large and lots of space for our group to spread out or gather when desired. Thanks!

"Our large group of 14 had a great time at the house. Plenty of room to spread out. Games were a big hit. House was sparkling clean. Lots of fun on deck and in the hot tub. We visited White Pines Lake 3 times since it was less than 5 minutes away. Kitchen had everything we needed. House was stocked with dish, laundry, and hand soap which was a nice touch. Staff was helpful and responsive. A wonderful time was had by all.

"“This house is a wonderful place for a mid-sized to large family to spread out, play games, and chill in a foothill environment. It is immaculate. It is a great place for electronic entertainment (TVs and Sonos system throughout). The Wifi was highly dependable, and held up through working remotely and teen gaming. The kitchen has all of the pots and utensils you need to cook well -- be sure to bring your own herbs and spices -- including a walk in pantry to store all of your snacks and ingredients. The appliances are new and efficient, including the induction stovetop in the center island. The game room is lots of fun. The downstairs bedroom with a comfortable desk and chair made it easy to work remotely while the rest of the family enjoyed the rest of the house. The master bedroom was spacious, and the jet tub and shower were blissful. The hot tub was a wonderful soak after a day of hiking or snow play -- especially at night so you don't see the neighbor's junky yard. Note: if you still do quaint things like reading real books or needlework, please bring your own reading lamps. They are no where in this house, not even by the beds! If you have a doggo, the completely fenced in yard is a real treat.”
